Are you ready to put the pep back in your pup's step?
The first step is to contact to me to learn more about canine rehab. We will set up a phone call in which you can tell me about your pup, your concerns, and we can better determine how I can help you and your pup. Text or Call 405-367-5732 or e-mail: pawsitivestepsok@gmail.com

INSURANCE OFTEN COVERS REHAB!! IF YOU HAVE INSURANCE, CHECK WITH YOUR POLICY TO SEE IF REHAB IS COVERED. THE INSURANCE MAY DICTATE WHERE CLIENT WILL BE SEEN DUE TO ALLOWING CCRT TO PERFORM REHAB OR IF VET MUST BE ON-SITE FOR SUPERVISION.
Next Steps:
Veterinarian Clearance and approval
In order for me to work with you pup, I must have veterinarian clearance and approval. I have a form that can be sent to the clinic. I will then request medical records from the clinic. This allows me to know if there are any precautions or issues I need to be aware of prior to seeing your pup.
Paperwork
Once I have clearance from your veterinarian, I will send you paperwork and consent forms to sign. This will all be via secure e-mail.
Evaluation
Once we have established clearance and consent, I will set up a time to come to your home to perform the evaluation. It is generally 60-90 minutes. During this time, I will perform tests and observe functional patterns of your dog. From my evaluation, I will then teach you exercises to perform with you pup. Later in the day, you will get an e-mail with the home exercise program (HEP) that will also include video instructions.
A copy of my evaluation will be sent to you and your vet via secure e-mail.
Follow-ups
We will discuss follow-up rehab visits based on the severity of your pup's needs and your ability to perform the necessary exercises at home. Packages are available.
Graduation/
Discharge
The ultimate goal is to graduate from canine rehab. While I will love your pups like my own, the idea is for them to get better. You will be able to continue the HEP. This doesn't mean that if something happens, you can't reach out again. We can also do maintenance visits and modifications.
